T.C. Williams boys basketball (Titans website) won the 2007-2008 Virginia AAA boys basketball championship last night, becoming the first Northern Region team in almost 30 years to bring home the honors.

T.C. Williams beat Bethel 70-57 behind 59 combined points from Edward Jenkins, Travis Berry and Anthony Winbush, and terrific team defense. The Titans led from start to finish, using their trademark lock-down team defense to frustrate Bethel all night, ending their 29-game win streak. Mbai Goto Olivier led Bethel with 19 points.
