VA 2008 District & Regional Basketball HighLights: Videos & Photos
LocalReplay Photo & Video Media Spent Two Weeks racing around Northern Virginia to capture as much of the VA Basketball Post Season as we could.
District Championship action started in late Febraury and then 2 teams were left standing on March 1st after the Regional Finals.
Titans Championship Run: TC Williams won the Patriot District Championship at Lake Braddock and then faced Lake Braddock again in Regional Semi-Finals at the Patriot Center. They defeated the Bruins in both games,and then hosted their second tropy in as many weeks as the Northern Regional Champs.

Girls Norther Regional Champs: How bout the Lee Lady Lancers? The Lancers lost in the Patriot Distric Semi Finals to West Springfield, but their top 4 (2nd) finish in the District qualified them for the VA Northern Regional Tournament. Lee danced till the end with a resounding 66-40 defeat of the Woodson Cavaliers.

Lee had to work for their title though. The Madison Warhaaks gave Lee a hec of a run in the Semi-Finals, maybe the best game of the Regionals.
