Live Blogging at the VA Regional Finals! Girls: Lee Lancers are the Champs! 66-40 over Woodson

Anticipation is HIGH as the Girls & Boys Regional Champions will be crowned on what promises to be a memorable night for the athletes and their fans. If last nights games were any indication, all 4 Teams will have strong support from their fans.
Let’s start with the Girls: How did they get here tonight?
#2 Seed Woodson defeated Yorktown in Thursday’s final, 54-41. Check out Woodson’s photo highlights right here!
The # 3 Seed Lee Lancers are the lower seed, but seem to favored team amongst the crew of experts sitting next to us at the press table. All we know is that it is March, and the month of Madness is what it is, ALL the time. Lee defeated Madison in the best game of the tournament thus far, 53-49. Both teams are out right now, doing layup drills and the warmup music is really freaking loud!
A Great lesson could be learned from the college games played earlier today….”Do not celebrate being ahead until the game is over.” See the Cuse (up by 11 vs Pitt with 4 minutes left, lost by 5..tournament hopes appear dead, unless you are talking NIT), NC State (Up by 13 in 2nd half vs Duke, lost 87-86, Coack K gets 800…wow) & Boston College (Up by 18 vs UNC and had some dude score 34 in the first half. But they still lost by 10)

Lee plays D too. Nice block out of bounds. Woodson scores though, but Lee answers like lightning with a 3. 38-16 Lancers.

“Get that sorry ref out the game”…direct quote from Lee fan in the stands after foul call. These guys are going for blood!
