VA Girls Northern Regional Basketball Finals Set: Woodson vs Lee @ Patriot Center
High School Basketball fans are in for a treat this weekend as the Regional Tournament quarterfinals are going on all over Northern Virginia.
LocalReplay.com is on the home floor of the Patriot Center @ George Mason University where the Northen Regional Girls Quarterfinals are being played as we speak.
The Madison Lady Warhawks took on the Lee High Lady Lancers in what proved to be fight to the finish. What a way to start of the dance!
Final–53-49. The Lady Lancers advance to the Finals on Saturday night!
The game was back and forth and no lead got beyond 7 points, an 18-11 Madison edge in the first half. Tied at 38 heading in the 4th quarter, these two teams traded baskets and time finally ran out on an incredible Madison season. Congrats to both teams on a hec of a game.

The Lady Cavaliers of W.T. Woodson & the Yorktown Lady Patriots are playing as we write in the other semifinal.

with the TC Williams having such an outstanding season; despite the loss of Pratt, it seems the #$ seed team’s victory over the Titans should have been bettter covered. There must be a story line as to what occurred. Yet very little written, very unusual. If this was a boy’s game would it not have been big news? There must be more to the story, please let us know.

TC Lost in the first round to Robinson and Pratt’s injury had a lot to do with it. Are you referring to that game?
We were not at TC for that game, but we did cover their District Championship victories last week. Highlights of your Lady Titans victory are on our site right now.
