NVIAC Semi-Finals @ Hoop Magic; Kings vs Tempests in Final!

The Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference Tournament Semi-Finals were last night and we will have highlights soon!

Kevin Curry of WKCTV Productions witnessed and covered both games last night as all four teams had their eyes on their spot in the finals….only two spots were available of course.
Game 1 featured a battle of two Trinity Schools.
The Trinity Christian Academy Guardians vs Trinity School at Meadow View Tempests
Fans in the stands informed the LR staff that this is a big rivalry in the conference and rivalry games usually mean close games…and that’s exactly what we saw. The Tempests outlasted the Guardians, 49-46 and higlights will be posted soon!
Who will the Tempests play? Well, it would be either the Fairfax Home School Kings or the Islamic Saudi Academy Falcons! Just when we thought we saw the the game of the night, Game 2 might have proved to be even more exciting. The Kings edged the Falcons by a closer margin of two points, 42-40.
So, the final for the NVIAC Trophy will be the Fairfax Home School Kings vs the Trinity School at Meadow View Tempests! The games was scheduled for tonight, but due to a big ice-storm, it looks like it will be postponed until Saturday.
