Centreville Girls Basketball: Wildcats Rally Past Westfield 42-35
February 5th, 2008 Posted in boys high school basketball, Virginia High School Girls Basketball, LocalReplay, BasketballThe Centreville Lady Wildcats improved to 16-2 overall and 9-1 in the AAA Concorde Division, with a 42-35 victory over the Lady Bulldogs of Westfield.
Centreville started fast then slowed down in the 2nd quarter as the visiting Bulldogs claimed a 21-16 halftime lead. The halftime speech must have worked cause the home team Wildcats held Westfield to just 14 second half points. The offense put up 26 and that was more than enough to close the door on the visitors. Centreville is no joke and will be a force come playoff time.
Kevin Curry of WKCTV continued his girls basketball tour and covered his second game in as many nights.
Bruce Small of F-11 Images continued his surge to become the LocalReplay newcomer of the year. Bruce will post more of his photography soon as he joined Kevin Curry in a Video-Photo combo effort tonight.

The Lady Wildcats moved into first place in the Concorde, one half game over the Oakton Cougars,pending their result.
