Highlights from the tournament will be posted on the 2007 Hubert Davis Basketball Tournament site.
High school boys basketball teams competing in the Hubert Davis Tournament are Hylton, Episcopal, Suitland, Edison, KIMA, Herndon, Frederick Douglass and host Lake Braddock. Joe Ball video clips will highlight the coverage and as always you can add your photos and videos to your team’s website and they’ll be automatically linked to the tournament site as well.

When: Dec. 28-30; Games at 2:15 p.m., 4, 5:45, 7:30.
Boys: Westfield, Manchester (Va.), Msgr. Scanlan (N.Y.), W.T. Woodson, Hylton, Patrick Henry, Falls Church, Lake Braddock (host).

What other local basketball tournament can boast two Northern Region boys basketball tournament semifinalists and the 2002 New York City champions?
Lake Braddockâs annual tournament, named for former Bruin and NBA standout Hubert Davis, will be held from Dec. 28-30 at the Burke secondary school.
“I think when we first started doing it four years ago, we wanted to make the tournament so tough for us that when we come out of the break, we’ll be ready,” said Lake Braddock coach Brian Metress.
The host Bruins play their first game against Falls Church on Dec. 28 at 7:30 p.m. Westfield and Woodson could meet in the Dec. 29 semifinals. The championship game is on Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
