Virginia High School Football: RB Breon Earl Leads the Way as Broad Run Outlasts Park View for Dulles District Title, 21-14. LocalReplay.com Highlights & More
LR Fans,
Friday Night Lights–Park View @ Broad Run for the Dulles District Championship:
We witnessed another great football game from start to finish and this time a trophy was on the line. After a 3 yard TD Run by Park View QB CJ Leizar tied the score @ 14 in the 3rd quarter, Broad Run answered right back with a little razzle dazzle to begin the 4th.
The trickery ended up being the play of the game. A reverse pass from QB Chris Jessop to RB Breon Earl setup what proved to be the winning score as the Spartans continued their perfect season @ 10-0. Earl added a 15 yard touchdown pass, a 2 yd touchdown run along with 113 rushing yards to win LR MVP Honors. He was terrific.
The Park View Patriots suffered their first defeat of the season, falling to 9-1, but they might have another crack at Broad Run next week in the first round of playoffs. Both Broad Run and Park View qualified for the post season and we will know by Sunday who they will be playing. Keep logging on to the VA Blog and LR will let you know.
