G.E.S.U.S. Ball was eliminated Tuesday morning in the quarterfinals of the AAU 17U Boys Basketball National Tournament. The team coached by Lamont Strothers turned heads with a strong march through the tournament. G.E.S.U.S. swept its pool play games on Friday and Saturday and then claimed a win on Sunday and two on Monday to reach the quartefinals.

The Georgia Stars, though, ended the road for G.E.S.U.S. Ball. The Stars won 60-53 this morning to advance to today’s 5:30 p.m. semifinal.

The other quarterfinal results will be available this afternoon.
