After the second round consolation, Orange leads with 54.5; Newton Conover is in second with 41; and McMichael (33), Robbinsville (31.5) and Mount Pleasant (30) round out the top five. Rosewood’s Olivia Neal, the first female wrestler ever to qualify for the state tournament, recorded her second win of the state playoffs. Neal has won over 100 matches in her fine high school wrestling career and continues to make NC state wrestling history in Winston.
