  • 1A/2A (Lawrence Joel Coliseum, Winston)
    After the second round consolation, Orange leads with 54.5; Newton Conover is in second with 41; and McMichael (33), Robbinsville (31.5) and Mount Pleasant (30) round out the top five. Rosewood’s Olivia Neal, the first female wrestler ever to qualify for the state tournament, recorded her second win of the state playoffs. Neal has won over 100 matches in her fine high school wrestling career and continues to make NC state wrestling history in Winston.

    3A (Lawrence Joel Coliseum, Winston)
    Winston-Salem Parkland continues to dominate. The top five: Parkland 104; Morehead 55.5; St Stephens 52.5; Ragsdale 42.5; T W Andrews 36.

    4A (Lawrence Joel Coliseum, Winston)
    Three-time defending champion Cary remains well ahead of the pack. The top five: Cary 72.5; Butler 41.5; Riverside 33.5; Chapel Hill 32.5; Green Hope 29.5.
