College football national signing day

Can high school football’s national signing day be any more heavily promoted? I’m glad “top recruit” Terrelle Pryor didn’t cave in, and stated that he simply hasn’t decided yet, despite the pressure from the big media organizations. He’s in high school. Let’s remember that.
That is one of the reasons we started LocalReplay - to give every athlete, coach, parent, fan, etc. their own websites for free. Yes, the student-athlete that wants to play at a D3 school that is close to his home and offers the course of study that he wants to major in is just as “important” as Terrelle Pryor. Yes, the parents that just wants a site to keep photos and videos for their 8-year old soccer player and high school JV lacrosse player in one place is as important as splashing videos of the “top recruits” all over blue-chip recruiting sites.
One more note before I get off the soapbox: analyzing each recruit and recruiting class under the microscope is near ridiculous. Does Notre Dame not have a top-5 recruiting class every year? Or, to look at it the other way, how many first-round NFL picks become superstars? And that’s the NFL with legions of scouts doing micro-analysis on college performance, and of course all the combine information, tests, interviews, etc.
As for all the high school football players that have found a match for the next step of their education and playing careers, congratulations and well earned.
If you are coming here looking for photos or videos of athletes that have committed to your school then start with our NC and Virginia football playoff sites linked below, and choose the high school football team from the drop down menu on the photos page or videos page. For other states that started with LocalReplay this fall like Georgia or Florida use the search box at the top of our home page to type in the team name. While you’re there, check out their teammates whom are out there on the field working just as hard. Some will likely end up at Appalachian beating D1 schools and winning true national championships!

If you are coming here for news on top recruits from NC, this is what we’ve heard but check the big media sites for better lists:
E.J. Abrams-Ward - Thomasville - Tennessee
Robert Blanton - Butler - Notre Dame
AJ Blue - North Gaston - UNC Chapel Hill
Quinton Coples - Hargraves (started at Kinston) - UNC Chapel Hill
The NC playoff pages linked above do include team sites for Thomasville, Butler, and North Gaston, so likely there are some photos and/or videos of E.J. Abrams-Ward, Robert Blanton, and A.J. Blue.
You can leave comments to add notes on any NC high school football player that has committed to a college, or notes on any of the recruits headed to your NC college.
