4A High School Football Championship, December 8th, Groves Stadium BB&T Field (Winston-Salem)
Hoggard won the 2007 NC high school football 4-A championship, beating Mount Tabor 28-0.

Photo highlights will be posted in the next few days to the team web sites linked above from photographer Ken Charnock.

Hoggard completed an undefeated season in style, shutting out Mount Tabor to win the Vikings first ever state football championship. Hoggard’s defense did what they have done all season, stuffing the opposing team’s offense, and the offense exploded for three second half touchdowns. All four Hoggard touchdowns came on the ground - two on Shawn Sidbury runs, and touchdowns from Mark Crecco and Saquan Coggins. Sidbury was an important part of the huge Hoggard defensive effort as well, earning MVP honors.
