    3-A Championship, Noon
Greenville D.H. Conley (23-4) vs. West Iredell (27-5)

A first-time 3A volleyball champion will be crowned as Greenville D.H. Conley women’s volleyball takes on West Iredell volleyball. The perennial championship contender D.H. Conley Vikings will be making their seventh appearance, while the West Iredell Warriors take their second shot at a state championship.

    4-A Championship, 2:30pm
Person (23-1) vs. Charlotte Myers Park (25-2)

Person volleyball will need to beat a very good Myers Park volleyball team to win their second consecutive state 4A volleyball championship. The Person Rockets are led by PAC-Six Player of the Year Amanda Robertson, whom will head south to play at Duke. Myers Park also features a conference Player of the Year (Southwestern), Christine Perzinski.

    1-A Championship, 5pm
    Louisburg (24-1) vs. Hendersonville (26-3)

Hendersonville volleyball is seeking a three-peat after winning the championship the past two seasons, while the Louisburg Warriors are in the championship for the eighth time, but the first time since 1997. That 1997 team included Erica Wammock, now in her second season as coach. Bailey Hunter of Hendersonville has been the MVP of the last two state volleyball finals.

    2-A Championship, 7:30pm
Raleigh Cardinal Gibbons (30-2) vs. Boonville Starmount (31-3)

Cardinal Gibbons women’s volleyball is also playing for a three-peat, and has not lost to a NC team this season. The Starmount Rams volleyball team however is in the finals for the third time in the past five seasons, and is riding a twenty-match winning streak. Katie Kabbes of Cardinal Gibbons is the reigning state Gatorade Player of the Year and is headed to Penn State, while teammate Katie Camp will continue her career at UCLA.
