NC high school soccer playoffs - Mount Tabor soccer defeats Myers park

The Mount Tabor Spartans soccer team advanced in the 2007 NCHSAA soccer playoffs, beating Myers Park soccer in their opening round match by a final score of 5-2. Aaron Greene scored first for Mount Tabor, but Myers Park tied the score at 1-1 on a goal by Mark Rapisardo. Mount Tabor then scored four straight goals - Paul Loser, Ben Blaiss, and two Carter Whittington goals, the second Whittington goal on a great assist from Anderson Shore. Myers Park’s James Carroll scored the game’s final goal.
