Ricky Lewis Jr. caps Dudley drive with TD run
The Northeast Guilford Rams topped the Dudley Panthers 14-13 in a key Triad 3A battle at Dudley’s Tarpley Stadium. Tyler Woods scored two touchdowns on the ground for the Rams and blocked a Dudley potential game tying PAT. Ricky Lewis Jr. scored the first Panther TD (video highlight above), and Kenny Okoro took a punt return to the house for the other Dudley TD.
The Page Pirates held off East Forsyth 30-28 in a critical Metro 4A matchup. The Page defense stopped a two-point conversion attempt late in the fourth to end a furious Eagle comeback and preserve the victory. Page’s Will Newman threw a touchdown pass and ran for another, while DJ McNeil ran for the other two Page TDs. Christian Smith rushed for two touchdowns for the Eagles, and Danny O’Brien threw two fourth quarter touchdown passes in the East Forsyth fourth quarter comeback bid.
