Leesville Road at Millbrook
The 2007 Leesville Road Pride football team has showed all season that they can score on any defense, but the Millbrook Wildcats may be their toughest challenge to date. Leesville Road is undefeated and averages over 40 points per game. Millbrook meanwhile has only lost one game, is on a seven game winning streak, and yields only 15 points per game on average. The Wildcats will need to be at their best to challenge Leesville Road in this Cap 7 conference showdown.

Richmond at Scotland
It doesn’t get much better than a rivalry game between two undefeated teams that will likely decide a conference championship (Southeastern 4A). The Richmond Raider offense has exploded the past couple weeks in wins against Pinecrest and Douglas Byrd, and has faced an overall tougher schedule with impressive wins against Anson County, Jack Britt, and Douglas Byrd. However, the Scotland County Fighting Scots are talented on both side of the ball, feature a shut-down defense, are well-coached, and won’t go down easy at home in a rivalry game.

South Mecklenburg at Butler
An intriguing Southwest 4A conference battle, as the Butler Bulldogs needs to rebound from last week’s loss to East Meck, while South Mecklenburg seeks to maintain momentum from last week’s impressive win over Weddington. South Meck’s solid rushing attack will be a stiff test for Butler’s defense, while Butler’s passing offense will be tough to contain, especially if a potentially wet field gives the WRs the advantage over the DBs.

Charlotte Latin at South Point
Both teams are undefeated and have been lighting up scoreboards every week. South Point football has surprised many with their superb play, and will be put to the test by a very tough three-week end to their regular season schedule starting tonight vs Charlotte Latin, followed by a huge game against North Gaston that will likely decide the Big South 3A/4A, and ending the season vs always dangerous Crest.

Wake Forest-Rolesville at Sanderson
The Sanderson Spartans will try to rebound from consecutive losses as they host undefeated Wake Forest-Rolesville in a Cap 7 conference matchup. Wake Forest-Rolesville is tied at the top of a very good Cap 7 conference with a dominant Leesville Road Pride team, but their last three weeks are brutal: at Sanderson tonight, home vs an excellent Millbrook team next week, and closing at Leesville Road. The Spartans have the talent to be the first team to knock off Wake Forest-Rolesville in what should be a good game tonight.

Southeast Raleigh at Garner
Southeast Raleigh will try to become the first team to beat an excellent Garner football squad, as the two top teams in the Greater Neuse River 4A will battle in Garner. The Southeast Raleigh football Bulldogs come into the game on a four game winning streak, with only one loss on the season, but have not faced a team as good as Garner. Few teams have - Garner is one of the top teams in the state, and will be tough to beat on their home turf tonight.

West Mecklenburg at Charlotte Catholic
A game that will be decided in the fourth quarter if both teams play their game, and a game that should determine the Queen City 3A/4A conference champion. Both teams are undefeated in the QC 3A/4A, but Charlotte Catholic has faced a tougher schedule, and has showed they can win close games against good opponents.
