High school football week eight - Sun Valley explodes in the second half to beat Concord

In a conference match up between Concord, who has rattled off three straight conference victories, and Sun Valley, having lost one conference game so far to Anson County, proved to be close at the half but not in the second. Concord opened up the scoring when they got a field goal to give them an early 3-0 lead. Sun Valley before the half was over got a touchdown run from Ray Ray Davis, who was lined up taking the direct snap from the center. He started left and then cut back right to put his team up 7-3, which was the score at the end of the half.
The second half proved to be a different story as Sun Valley opened up their offense and a few key turnovers from Concord allowed Sun Valley to get a lead and not look back. The final score was 40-10.
