In a Greater Neuse conference battle between two good football teams, Southeast Raleigh football defended their home turf, beating a previously undefeated Smithfield-Selma football team. The Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs won their third game in a row since suffering their only loss of the season to Cary. Elliot Smalls ran for around 150 yards and scored a touchdown for Southeast Raleigh, while Justin Dixon paced the Smithfield-Selma Spartans offense with over 100 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown.
