High school football week 6 - Leesville Road grounds Eloe Eagles

For the second consecutive week, North Carolina high school football got a Monday night football game. Two weeks ago, it was lightning across the state forcing Friday postponements. This week, it was lighting. At least at Enloe High School where issues with the football field lights postponed Enloe High School football’s Cap Seven Conference game against Leesville Road football until tonight, and moved the game from Enloe to Sanderson High School.
Tonight, Leesville Road provided the lightning, shutting out Enloe 31-0. The Leesville ground game was dominant, racking up over 250 yards on the game. Leesville raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead and then cruised from there. Leesville Road, #8 in our week seven 4A football poll, improved to 6-0 on the season. The Enloe Eagles fell to 2-3 on the season.
