Anson County football beat previously undefeated A.L. Brown 24-21 tonight at Kannapolis Memorial Stadium in an important South Piedmont conference game. A.L. Brown was coming off a big win vs Sun Valley (video highlight above), and the Wonders dominated the first half, but Anson County put together a strong second half comeback to claim victory. The Anson County winning touchdown came on a Dennis Rorie touchdown toss to Marshall Little with just over two minutes to play in the game. A.L. Brown RB Artrelle Louis ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown, and A.L. Brown QB Jonathan Efird passed for 200 yards and two touchdowns.
Anson County improves to 3-1 and 2-0 in the South Piedmont, while A.L. Brown falls to 3-0 and 1-1 in the South Piedmont.
