Cherryville’s 2007 Legion World Series Bid Falls Short At Southeast Regionals

Cherryville’s 2007 NC champion American Legion team was eliminated in the final day of Southeast Regional play today in Albany, Georgia. Bayanon (Puerto Rico) beat Cherryville to advance to the Southeast Regional championship game vs Columbia Legion (Tennessee), with the winner advancing to the 2007 American Legion Baseball World Series.
It was a tremendous 2007 season for Cherryville Legion - below are links to their path through the NC Championships and Southeast Regionals:

Post 100 Cherrville, ….Hold your heads high, guys! You had a great run! Savor it and remember the friendships you have, and all the good things you have been blessed with! Those of you leaving I am sure will make sure all your coaching staff knows how much you appreciate them! I hope you were able to record some memories for your grandchildren!

Following up on the memories part of that comment, the photos and videos you upload to your 2007 web site will always be there…even in 2008, you’ll get a new site that links to the 2007 site…so you’ll always have a snapshot of your terrific 2007 season…the same goes for photos/videos moved to your StarCards, FanCards, and CoachCards.
