The 2007 high school football season kicks off in North Carolina today. This is the second part of our quick 2007 high school football preview. The first part was the snapshots on NC 1A football and NC 4A football.
Even over the summer (video clip above is from the summer East vs West All-Star football game), football teams and players were starting their LocalReplay TeamCards and player StarCards, and some of our teams like the South Rowan Raiders have posted full rosters and 2006 photos, and are preparing to load 2007 photos and videos.
We’ve been talking to the high school football coaches, reviewing last year’s results, and hitting season previews to prepare, and compiled pre-season top 10 football team lists and pre-season All-State teams in the process. Don’t take these too seriously - even the so called experts are just taking educated guesses - but these are some of the high school football teams and players in North Carolina to watch, and we welcome your comments as well. Anybody who has played or coached the game will describe that football is a team game, and that the largest underdog can rise on any given Friday night high school football game. That’s part of what makes football great, and that’s why we can’t wait for the season to start!
