The 2007 North Carolina American Legion Baseball State Playoffs start on Wednesday in Garner, NC. The playoffs are double-elimination:
2007 NC Legion state baseball playoffs:
Wednesday, August 8th
9:30 am: Morehead City (29-3) vs. Rowan County (39-6)
12:30 pm: Wayne County (23-4) vs. Caldwell County (28-11)
4:30 pm: Cherryville (36-7) vs. Durham (22-6)
7:30 pm: Randolph County (38-13) vs. Garner (11-17)
Thursday August 9th
9:30 am: Morehead/Rowan loser vs. Cherryville/Durham loser
12:30 pm: Wayne/Caldwell loser vs. Randolph/Garner loser
4:30 pm: Morehead/Rowan winner vs. Cherryville/Durham winner
7:30 pm: Wayne/Caldwell winner vs. Randolph/Garner winner
Note: the losers of the first two games are eliminated
Friday August 10th
12:30 pm: Thursday 12:30 winner vs. Thursday 4:30 loser (loser of this game is eliminated)
4:30 pm: Thursday 9:30 winner vs. Thursday 7:30 loser (loser of this game is eliminated)
7:30 pm: Thursday 4:30 winner vs Thursday 7:30 winner
Saturday August 11th semi-finals
3 pm: Friday 12:30 winner vs. Friday 7:30 loser (loser of this game is eliminated)
7 pm: Friday 4:30 winner vs. Friday 7:30 winner
Sunday August 12th championship
1 pm: Saturday winners
4 pm: (if both teams have one loss after the 1 pm game)
