Final four set at AAU National Basketball Championships

The Georgia Stars, Team Breakdown (Florida), King of Court (Ohio), and Westchester Select (NY) won their way into the final four of the AAU National Basketball Championships at Disney’s World Wide of Sports complex.

The Georgia Stars run included a tough win over underdog favorite G.E.S.U.S. (Virginia). Team Breakdown (Florida) has been spectacular throughout the tournament, playing most of the games above the rim, and beating an excellent Georgia Blazers team to advance to the final four. King of the Court has been living up to their name with a string of impressive victories, including one over the Carolina Crusaders (photo above), and will be a tough out. Westchester Select’s run to the final four included beating last year’s champion D1 Greyhounds (West Virginia), a last second win (video highlight below) over a very talented Rising Stars team (Illinois), and a win over the high flying Alabama Challenge to make the final four.
Of the NC teams playing at AAU Nationals, the Gaters Select team advanced the farthest, making it to the great 8 of classic bracket play.
