South Rowan Legion (photos, videos, statistics, roster, StarCards) beat Randolph County Legion (photos and video highlights) 10 - 6 tonight to take a 3 - 2 best-of-seven playoff series lead. Walker Snow won his second game of the series, and Rudy Brown and Daniel Wagner continued their power barrage, each hitting another home run. The series has gone back and forth, with South Rowan winning the first two games, including game one at Randolph County, and then Randolph rebounding to win the next two, regaining home field advantage with last night’s game four win at South, only to lose it again tonight at home.

Game six will be at South tomorrow night and likely feature Rudy Brown on the mound for South and Justin Yow starting for Randolph. The playoff series determines which team will join Rowan County Legion in representing Area III in the upcoming state playoffs. We couldn’t be live at the game tonight, but will add in notes that we receive from people that were there, and will link to the Salisbury Post’s article when it comes online tomorrow.
