The East Women (photos and interactive roster up now; videos on Wednesday) caught fire in the 4th quarter, scoring 32 points to beat the West Women (photos and interactive roster up now; videos on Wednesday) 75 - 67 at the Greensboro Coliseum. East was down 37 - 23 at half before outscoring West 52 - 35 in the second half. Frances Hernandez was the MVP, leading the West with 18 points, including hitting 4 - 5 from three point range - all 4 makes in the first half. West’s Brittany Strachan hit the boards hard to register the game’s only double double, finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds. East was paced on the offensive end by Shuanda Ashford and Jurica Hargraves - Ashford and Hargraves scored 12 each.
