Rowan Legion tops Stanly
June 28th, 2007 Posted in American Legion baseballIn a key game at Albermarle against second place Stanly Legion, Rowan Legion prevailed 8 - 6. The win increases Rowan’s lead to three games over Stanly Legion, South Rowan Legion, and Lexington Legion. Rowan’s is in firm control of the division, as they only have seven regular season games remaining, and three are non-conference games. The conference games are at home verses Stanly and Wilkes, and on the road at Montgomery (tonight) and Statesville.
