Pope Takes the Cobb County Invitational

It was a great weekend for the Greyhound wrestling nation, as Pope High School took the coveted Cobb County Georgia High School Wrestling Invitational with 224.5 overall team points. Pope Coach Jim Haskin told Carlton D. White of the Marietta Daily Journal “This is a great accomplishment for me personally and for these kids,” Haskin said. “All of the discipline and the hard work is really paying off. This is our first Invitational title in some 20 years and we need to try and take this momentum into the region and state tournaments.” Click here to read additional coverage from the Marietta Daily Journal.
