Clearwater finishes off Tarpon Springs, 31-16
Tarpon Springs- In the season finale for both teams, the visiting Clearwater Tornadoes stole a victory from their hosts’ The Spongers, 31-16. Both teams started sluggish, carrying a 7-7 score into the half, but in the 3rd quarter is when The Tornadoes got hot. Clearwater pulled away when QB Luke Loucks threw 2 of his 3 TD’s to Chris Sackman in the 3rd, and then iced the game on a 90 yard fumble return for a TD by Jeremiah George in the 4th quarter. The win gives Clearwater a 5-5 record, while Tarpon Springs dropped to 6-4. Boxscore
