The holders of the top spot in District 3A-8, the Zephyrhills Bulldogs, will go on the road to defend their standing against the highly motivated Gulf Buccaneers in New Port Richey. This game is a match up of highly touted running backs as Gulf’s David Williams (1706 yards, 22 TD’s, 11.22 yards per carry) will try to outdo the efforts of The Bulldogs’ Chris Henry (921 yards, 8 TD’s.) Gulf’s overall record doesn’t reflect well on them, but Coach Jay Fulmer’s kids know that a win in this game will fix that. Meanwhile, Zephyrhills will try to avoid the occasional slip up which has gotten them twice before this season.
