The Charlotte High School football Tarpons went on the road and crashed the Fort Myers High School homecoming party, handing the Florida Myers Green Wave football team their first loss of the season, 21-14. Charlotte Tarpon running backs Mike Bellamy and Troy McClary each rushed for over 100 yards with Bellamy scoring two touchdowns on the ground and McClary finding the endzone on a pass reception. Fort Myers QB Logan Hulslander hooked up with Scott Hinds on two passing touchdowns in the losing effort. The Charlotte Tarpons improve to 3-1 on the season while the Fort Myers Green Wave fall to 4-1.
