Our Week 4 review features links to game stories featuring our top 20 teams in each class, but we’ve had a lot of demand from readers regarding the rest of the state’s teams. As such, here are some of the other results with links to newspaper stories, where you can find in-depth coverage of individual games.

Estero upended Mariner 47-0. Check on the Naples Daily News story here.

Ridge Community defeated Bartow 42-6. Michael James rushed for 177 yards for the Bolts. Check out this Lakeland Ledger story for more.

The Ridgewood Rams got a huge night out of RB Byronell Arline in a 42-21 win against Brooksville Central on Friday night. The 4A-8 matchup saw Airline rush for 330 yards and six rushing touchdowns. For more on that game, check out this story from the Tampa Tribune.

Pasco High defeated Hudson 39-34 in a 3A-8 opener. RB Jamall Haynes had 142 yards on 23 carries, including a 53-yard touchdown run, for Pasco. Check out this Tampa Tribune link for more on the game.

Okeechobee sprinted past Sebastian River 61-16 behind Lonnie Pryor’s 178 rushing yards and five touchdown carries. For more on this District 4A-13 game, visit the TCPalm Web site here.

Haines City popped George Jenkins 48-3 for the Hornets first win of the season. They’re now 1-2. Meanwhile, George Jenkins dropped to 0-4. For more, check out this Lakeland Ledger story.

In Tampa, Sickles defeated Wharton behind a big night for Gryphon’s RB Josh Mendez, who had 121 rushing yards on 29 carries. For more on this one, check out this Tampa Tribune story.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian defeated Bishop McLaughlin 49-7 behind four touchdowns from Calvary Christian QB Buddy Adzima. The Tampa Tribune also has that story here.
Bayside defeated St. Lucie West Centennial 28-9 in District 5A-13 action. Centennial fell to 2-2 with the loss. Meanwhile, the Bayside Bearsk improved to 2-1 with help from QB Maurice Francois, who threw for 139 yards on six completions, including a touchdown. All Saints Academy defeated Bradenton St. Stephen’s Episcopal 20-8. All Saints lost its quarterback Craig Cummings, who was injured on a tackle in the third quarter. He had feeling on his arms and legs, but there’s no word on when he’ll return. For more on that one, visit the Lakeland Ledger story here.

Auburndale defeated Poinciana 51-7 in 4A-12 action. Sophomore Keeshawn Maxwell had 87 rushing yards and a touchdown for the winners. Check the Lakeland Ledger story here.

Ocala Christian fell 57-20 to Landmark Christian, which saw Darius Bentley score seven touchdowns and rush for 188 yards. For more on that, visit the Lakeland Ledger story here.
