Lake Brantley Star Ted Blackman Signs

According to this Orlando Sentinel blog note, Lake Brantley two-sport star Ted Blackman has given an oral commitment to the University of Miami baseball team.
Blackman isn’t the only recent Florida player to offer an oral commitment in recent days. The Orland Sentinel also announced that Montverde Academy senior Dashan Harris has announced that he’s going to play college basketball at Texas A&M University next year.
According to the Tampa Tribune, Plant High School senior Logan Welch is taking his leather and aluminum to the University of Maryland. Welch announced on Wednesday that he’ll play for the Terrapins’ baseball team, most likely at second base.
Lake Mary senior Jordan Coleman also announced her collegiate plans, according to the Orlando Sentinel. She’ll be headed Vanderbilt to play basketball next fall.
