Florida Kicks Off High School Volleyball Season
August 23rd, 2007 Posted in High School Sports, High School VolleyballWith students in classes, volleyball programs across the state are prepping for their seasons with a host of preseason tournaments that kick off the high school volleyball season this week. Lots of action starts today, but some tournaments are slated for Friday and Saturday.
Stay tuned all season for our Player of the Week features, where we’ll be showcasing one of the state’s top female athletes. There’s sure to be a few volleyball players in the mix, too. If you’d like to nominate somebody, just drop us a line with a little information about the player’s performance.

All of the above players were named to the Florida Sports Writers Association’s 2006 Class 4A All-State team.
