Iowa Signs Boca Running Back Tony Cornelius
August 16th, 2007 Posted in High School FootballTony Cornelius, a rising senior at Boca Raton, has given an oral commitment to the University of Iowa football program. Cornelius (5-10, 180 pounds) was being recruited by several schools despite being hampered by an ankle injury during his junior year. He looked healthy in Boca Raton’s spring game. A family connection played a role in his decision. Damien Sims, who was a senior last year for the Hawkeyes, is Cornelius’ cousin.
