Breakdown Not Broken Yet At AAU Nationals

Team Breakdown, based in Plantation, rolled to victory Monday morning to advance to the AAU 17U Boys Basketball National Tournament’s fourth round. The Breakdown defeated Shining Star-Callahan and now face the Philadelphia Patriots in a game set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. The winner advances to Tuesday’s 9 a.m. quarterfinal game.
The Tampa Fastbreak, one of three Florida teams to reach Monday’s round of 32, lost 63-46 this morning to the highly-rated Georgia Stars. That ended the Fastbreak’s tournament run. Team STAT also lost this morning. The STAT fell to the Baltimore Stars in a game decided by a single point.
