Photo uploading - basics

  • Click on a category link listed to your right to see all support entries related to that category.

  • 1. Make sure you are logged in
    A. When you are logged in, it will say “Welcome (YourUserName)” to the right of the LocalReplay logo towards the top left of your screen.

    2. Start from the team web site that you want to upload to
    A. If you are registered as a content producer, the photos will automatically be linked to your channel (about an hour after they go to the team web site).
    B. Use the Quick Search tool on the Teams page to find your team. You can add a team if the they don’t have an active site yet.
    C. On the front of the team web page is a section for “recent team photos”, and a link at the bottom of the section that says “click here to upload your photos now“. Click on “click here to upload your photos now”, and the photo upload wizard will start.

    3. After you enter the album info, the wizard will bring you to the photo upload tool.
    A. You can crop the photos before uploading to speed up your upload. You should set your photo editing software to crop the photos to a max dimension of 500 pixels (and keep the aspect ratio so that the other dimension scales accordingly). If you are not familiar with photo editing software that can do this, then read this post for a link to a free download of good, easy to use software that will batch crop photos for you, and directions on how to use it.
    B. Click on browse to find the photos on your computer
    C. Select the ones you want to upload (you can do up to 100 at a time) and they’ll go into a list.
    D. When the list looks good, click on “Upload” below the list.
